Things to Bring with you-Canada

Hello people, welcome back to my travel and tourism blog. I’m really excited about my topic today, as it covers something close to me. Any readers ever went to Canada? I lived the first 20 years of my life there and just recently went back after a couple years away and it was great. I went with my girlfriend who had never been there before so we went on over to and found everything we needed for the trip. I kept out list so that I can share it with you guys for your next trip to the Great White North.

When you look at a trip to Canada, the type of clothing you bring is a lot more important than one might think. Contrary to popular belief, it gets all the way up to 40 degrees celsius in many parts of Canada during the Summer months. So make sure to check out the weather forecast for your trip before deciding what to pack. If you are going in the winter however, you may still want to check out these deals on parkas .

Action Camera

Canada is a vast country, with lots of natural wonders to explore. If you are lugging around a big camera and a couple DSLR lenses the whole time, you won’t have the time or the energy to see everything. That is why the action camera is the adventurous best friend. We found a reasonably priced used Gopro action camera on and were able to use it to catch some amazing shots, from white water rafting to mountain climbing.

Drivers License

Like I just said, Canada is huge. And unlike those tropical oasis you have been visiting, their is actual restrictions on renting a vehicle. Heck, I can’t even think of somewhere that has moped rental. That is why it is so important to have someone who can legally drive in your group. Flying across the country is expensive and the airlines are terrible. If you rent a car however, you can make it across the whole country going to every corner you want to for a fraction of the price, especially if you have a group.

This has something to do with the previous note. If you are driving around Canada ( or bussing it, or however you are getting around) you will spend a lot of time sitting. When we were there we drove over 5000 km in my car, not to mention the busses and trains we caught. A great way to pass the time during those long trips is audiobooks. I like using Audible because of their huge selection, and because I can download the audiobooks so easily to my cars entertainment system.
